Bee Keeping

Community beekeeping around modern apiaries. We support farmers to manage hives well, harvest clean honey, and earn income from honey and beeswax products.

What We Do

• Establishing and managing community apiaries with modern hives
• Training in hive management, pest control and safe honey harvesting
• Value addition: honey processing, packaging and beeswax products
• Collective marketing of honey through our aggregation network

Why It Matters

Beekeeping gives smallholders a reliable income between crop seasons, and pollination improves nearby crop yields at the same time.
